Not a quilt, buona sera and spell check words

- I didn't have a photo for today, so looked at the thumbnails from photos taken that are still not cleared from my camera. This looked like a quilt on the thumbnail, but I couldn't quite tell or remember what it was. So funny when I downloaded it and realized it is a photo of some rack cards I had printed for a local technical college. The client was so pleased that she wanted me to take a photo and I had forgotten about it.

- The exuberant Italian man who works the counter at Figo Pasta, greeting me with a cheerful "Buona Sera!" And overhearing him talking about his upcoming wedding in Italy with a second ceremony in Atlanta so friends here can attend.

- Tuscan vegetable soup, rich and thick with tomatoes, and a side order of Focaccia bread. A Blogger spell check of the word Focaccia gives these options: fogyish, dogcatcher, quackish, freakish, cowcatcher. Everything except focaccia. Now I know if I want to blog about catching cows, I'm all set with spelling. :)

Wow, I was 5th -- I'm soooo rocking your blog today, Lynn!

Nice printing work. I'd love to have one of those display cases for my stationery.

Outlook Express still does not recognize the word blogger. Time for them to maybe move into the 90s? :)

Remember cow catchers on trains? Do trains still have them?

xoxo

Again, your blog makes me hungry! That does look like a quilt - you have a good eye.

No more than that for today. :) Thank you for my poem. :)

G -

It really does look quilt-like.

I have a cold I'm trying to shake and have exhausted all the soup options in the area in which I work. This one was worth the expense.

I know - I laughed when I saw those options and had to share.

Jannie -

You were definitely 5th with the 2nd post. :) And that would definitely be a lot of stationery!

I have never heard of a train that catches cows. What???

xo

Blue Bunny -

I'll bet that kitty was happy after a taste of beers. :) That was nice of your Jannie.

I'm tempted to have that again today. :)

I love funny spellcheck options.

One time my father was dictating into a voice recognition software when his dog came into the room and started barking. The microphone picked up the barking and transcribed it as "well well well lava lava lava". Awesome.

Well, they do look good in that rack! I like the picture tone composition also, with the stairs n black floor marks beneath the rack. Hate thumnails on my cam- can't tell whats good or blurry until on the computer.
Hope the friendly Italian counter guy has the best of wedding luck!
Looks like you caught some unusual soup with your new vocabulary! I'll be eating bagel pizza...

Mama Zen -

That makes me think of those funny Chick-fil-a ads with the cows. Or cowz. :)

Sparkling Red -

How funny - I guess that program *would* try to translate the dog bark. Neat.

Lulu -

I know - I would want to go to that guy's wedding in Italy, rather than Atlanta.

That building is kind of in the middle of nowhere, and is quite beautiful. That space you see is the entrance hall and is often used for weddings so brides can walk down that pretty staircase.
