No doing that, belated and glimpse

- The patch of grass this sign presides over is about 5' x 4' and the condo neighbor who is cultivating it so carefully clearly thinks her four-legged neighbor friends can read. :)

- Receiving a birthday card a month and half past the actual day, but loving the thought behind the sending of it.

- Looking forward to that turn I make in the morning on the way to work when I have a brief glimpse of midtown skyscrapers. It's just at that moment right before sunrise when the city is just coming awake and it's still lit up for night.

Some people are just weird about their grass.

A belated birthday card! How very cool it is for someone to still remember to send you a card months after the fact.

I am quite sure she does not want humans pooing or peeing on the grass either:)

Send me a birthday card anytime:)

It is wonderful to have a sight to detract from the misery of going to work.

I would like a sign like that for my lawn, not because I'm against dogs doing their business, but because it's amusingly absurd.

I'd like a sign on my lawn like that because I do mind when people allow their dogs to poo on it and then I cut the grass and get covered in the mess.

When I catch someone allowing their dog to do that I call out "How would you feel I allowed my kids to come and squat on your lawn and do a poo?"

Tends to make them think.

It's actually cracking me up - there is a sprinkler devoted to just this little patch of green. :)

I thought so, too, and just thanked her for the card. It was just a regular card with no belatedness attached to it. She just beamed when I thanked her for it. This has made me decide to just go ahead and send cards anyway - even if I think the time is past.

Granny Annie -

It's on curvy ramp going from I-85 south to I-75 north - there is just time to look up and see it.

I thought the absurdedness of the sign was amusing, too.

The rule in the condos is that you scoop the poop - most people abide by that, but clearly someone still has an issue.

lol! at the sign. Funny thing is, I think animals are more attracted to the unspoiled variety!

The card is sweet - definitely better late than never!

That sign . . . well, I'm just speechless!

Consider this comment a belated birthday card too!! :)

I like the straight forwardness of the sign. No question about what is not acceptable.

Lovely time of the day to catch a skyscraper glimpse.

How is the pollen? Hoping it's passed and your walks are enjoyable again?

And here I thought it was for the two legged ones.

Here I was thinking it was 10 1/2 months early.

Now there is a pic of the lights and sunrise.

Have a great day.

That sign is a stitch Lynn! I think if I 'had to' say it i would say something like "Dear Dog Owners; ...kindly refrain your pet from doing 'their business' on my lawn. Thank you."

Belated birthday cards are always welcome, and that sign for the pups is hilarious! Love it!!

ha ha - great sign. I don't mind a little pee, but sometimes I want to hang a sign like that for a few days so people wake up a little bit.

I love that sign!

But does that mean it's OK to throw up there? ;)

There is one dog that this is probably pointedly referring to - her downstairs neighbor. A perfectly delightful dog who likes to lie on that lush little patch of grass. The sign is a little passive aggressive, but still funny. :)

An interesting idea. :)

Jannie -

It's has been raining so much that the pollen is being washed away somewhat - but the highest pollen counts will be in the next 10 days or so. Glad yours is on the wane. :) xoxo

Now that is a good way to look at it - 10 and 1/2 months early. I like it.

It is, isn't it? That is actually common area, so it's funny she put that sign out at all.

Ily -

I think so, too. :) Good to see you!

Wendy -

I saw your post about the droppings in your yard - maybe a sign like this would work. :)

lol!
